Dragon the Conductor Excerpt:
It was a perfect afternoon on Ahway Island. The temperature was just right, as the sun slowly made its way across the sky and huge, puffy, fluffy clouds drifted lazily in the gentle breeze. School was done for the day, and some of the kids had begun afternoon activities.
Dragon sat in the grass at the park, watching the kids having band practice under the park’s band shell. This was the junior band, which was smaller and made up of the younger kids in town who were in their earliest years of playing their instruments.
Dragon had decided to observe the band practice because they loved listening to music of all kinds. Whether it was the children practicing their instruments, or the birds chirping their unique songs, or the frogs croaking in a chorus, or the wind whistling sweetly through the trees, the world was filed with glorious
music and Dragon immensely enjoyed all of it.
