Ep 485. The Colorful Ocean: a guided meditation and story for kids

Tanya the Sea Turtle goes for a swim by herself and enjoys the beautiful colors of her ocean neighborhood.
Hello everyone! We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “The Colorful Ocean,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!
Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 8:47
The Colorful Ocean Excerpt:
Tanya the Sea Turtle was swimming in the beautiful green-blue ocean waters that surrounded Ahway Island. Sunlight streamed through the clear and shallow waters, the light causing the ocean to sparkle beautifully all around her.
Tanya’s favorite fish were the parrot fish. They had bright green tails, little multi-colored flippers, and their blue mouths looked just like beaks. The first time the little sea turtle saw a parrot fish, she almost giggled because it looked so much like a parrot! But she didn’t want to hurt the fish’s feelings so she kept her giggles inside. Although she loved the way the parrot fish looked, they were also her favorite because in her experience, they were also the friendliest. Anytime she saw one of the parrot fish, they immediately said hello and asked her how she was doing.
Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating in a tranquil pool, safe and relaxed, as the water rocks you gently.
